flumpool Announce New Single Release for 2011!


Four-piece rock band flumpool has just announced a new single release for this year in July. Their last single release had been roughly ten month ago, which was their hit song "Kimi ni Todoke(君に届け)", the soundtrack of the manga adapted TV series under the same name.

Matsumoto Hitoshi(松本人志)’s “Dai-Nipponjin(大日本人)” getting Hollywood remake


“Dai-Nipponjin(大日本人),” the directorial debut of comedian and Downtown member Matsumoto Hitoshi(松本人志)(47), has a Hollywood remake in the works. Columbia Pictures has picked up the remake rights and attached producer Neil H. Moritz (“Prison Break”) and screenwriters Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi (“The Clash of the Titans”) to the project.

Uverworld releasing 6th album "LIFE 6 SENSE" on June 1st


Rock band UVERworld will be releasing their 6th album "LIFE 6 SENSE" today on June 1st - it's been a year since their last. The album contains the track "CORE PRIDE", which is the opening theme song for popular anine "Ao no Exorcist(青の祓魔師)", along with "Qualia(クオリア)", the opening for "MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM - A wakening of the Trailblazer-" and "NO.1", "MONDO PIECE" and of course many more.

Dragon Ash vocalist Furuya Kenji(降谷建志) hospitalized


Vocalist Furuya Kenji(降谷建志) (32), also known as Kj of the rock band Dragon Ash, was recently admitted to the hospital for a condition described as “multiple hemorrhagic gastric ulcers.”
