AKB48's Yuko Oshima(大島優子) Appeared In School Uniform For Her Last Handshaking Event

Yuko Oshima(大島優子) was at Tokyo Big Sight convention center for her last handshake event as member of AKB48 yesterday on May 24, 2014.

The event held was to commemorate the release of the theater edition of AKB48's 5th album "Tsugi No Ashiato(次の足跡)". Oshima interacted with many fans by taking pictures and shaking their hands for the last time as member of AKB. Oshima appeared in front of 3000 fans on stage after the end of the handshake meeting event. "As Yuko Oshima of AKB48, it was nice to have interacted with all of you in this manner. Today's meet and greet has finally ended. Thank you," she said to convey her gratitude to her fans.

It should noted that Oshima participated the event in school uniform. She spelled out her reasoning on her blog, "I thought that my chance of wearing uniform would be reduced after I graduate from AKB so I decided to wear uniform for my last photo session for fans."

Oshima to appear in front of fans as a member of AKB48 with a concert in Tokyo Ajinomoto Stadium on June 8th and and for the last time at her graduation performance in AKB theater.
