GACKT unveils his kimono project "Blood Model Concept"

Gackt's kimono project site has been updated with new kimonos, modeled and designed by GACKT under the theme of “blood” .  These kimono pics will also be featured in the magazine CD&DL 2010.12, which goes on sale tomorrow. You can order it on Amazon.jp.

Here’s a translation of each of the kimono names by amaiakuyume:

Orochi (雄呂血)- Orochi, Eight headed serpent of Japanese mythology.
Fudou (不動)- Immovable, unyielding
Ketsumyaku (血脈)- Blood vessel.  Also can apparently mean "blood ties" but judging by the design it's meant to be veins.
Shibuki (飛沫)- spray, mist (like from a waterfall)
Kagura (神楽)- sacred music, music and dance performed at shrines (kimono from Bunraku premier).
Kamyaku (華脈)- Not in my dictionary, but judging by the kanji it would mean "flower veins".
Roseblood (薔薇血)- Meaning is obvious.  Roseblood.

Nuretsubaki (濡椿)- "Raindrops on Camellia".
Utakata (泡沫)- "Ephemeral"
Katen (華天)- "Flower Heaven"
