LUNA SEA will be their first new song in 10 years and the release date for the download version has just been announced for April 9th, 2011!!!
Of course the song titled "PROMISE" will be dedicated to the victims of the devastating Tohoku Earthquake and tsunami, which had struck Japan on March 11th, 2011. Accordingly, the profit raised from the song's sales will be donated for relief action to the American and Japanese Red Cross Association.
The song has, until now, only been performed once, which was on December 30th, 2010 at the Kobe World Hall and was at that point not planned to be released at all. However, with the recent circumstances, the LUNA SEA members had decided to eventually release the song for a good cause.
This will, however, not only happen in Japan, but also in the U.S., Great Britain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France. The song will be available via Amazon in the respective countries as immediate mp3 download.
