2AM to Release First Japanese Single"Never let you go 〜死んでも離さない〜" In January 2012


South Korean vocal group 2AM will be releasing their Japanese debut single "Never let you go - Shindemo Hanasanai(Never let you go 〜死んでも離さない〜)" on January 11th 2012 it has been learned.


The group had been formed out of a casting show in Korea and while their brother unit 2PM is focused on dance performances, 2AM are relying more on their singing skills. Previously they have released the Japanese version of "Saint o'clock ~JAPANESE SPECIAL EDITION~" of their first Korean album on November 9th this year, with which they ranked 3rd within the ORICON Daily Charts.

The new song "Never let you go" has been already extremely popular in Korea and has exceeded 3,350,000 downloads. For the Japanese release the lyrics have been turned into Japanese once, of course.

The record will also include the track "Waratte Agerarenakute Gomen(笑ってあげられなくてごめん)" and a cover version of "Missing" by Japanese artist Kubota Toshinobu.

After the release of this single, 2Am will be going on their first Japan wide tour, starting on January 24th.
