Hey! Say! JUMP's Ryosuke Yamada(山田涼介) To Star In Kindaichi Drama Series

It has been revealed that Hey! Say! JUMP's Ryosuke Yamada(山田涼介) (20) is going to star for Nippon TV's upcoming new drama "Kindaichi Shonen no Jikenbo N(neo) (金田一少年の事件簿N(neo)" this July. Previously, Arashi(嵐)'s Jun Mastsumoto(松本潤) (30) starred for the the "Kindaichi series" 13 years ago.


The series is a popular manga series in the "Weekly Shounen Magazine". The hero of the live action version of the series, Hajime Kindaichi(金田一) has always been played by up and coming Johnny's members starting with KinkKi Kids's Tsuyoshi Domoto(堂本剛) (35) in 1995,  MatsuJun as second generation, KAT-TUN's Kazuya Kamenashi(亀梨和也) (28) as third generation, and Yamada as forth generation who appeared in the SP dramas in January of 2013 and 2014.




















The drama to feature events with a bizarre twist that can still be explained with Kindaichi's deductive logic. Yamada said, "I think people are going to thoroughly enjoy the comedy aspect of the story. We will be firing on all cylinder even in the beginning. Please look forward to it."

Haruna Kawaguchi(川口春奈) (19) to star as the heroine and Hey! Say! JUMP's Daiki Arioka(有岡大貴) to play Saki Ryuji. The famous detective, inspector Kenmochi will be played by Tomomitsu Yamaguchi(山口智充) (45).
