Maki Goto(後藤真希) Makes Public Appearance For The First Time In Two Years

In February of 2014, a member of the famous duo Tokyo pudding(東京プリン) Takashi Makino(牧野隆志) passed away from lung cancer. A farewell sending off ceremony was held on April 7th, 2014 at Tokyo's Baisoin Temple(梅窓院). Former Morning Musume(モーニング娘。) member, Maki Goto(後藤真希) who is currently on a hiatus was seen attending the event.

Goto's last public appearance was at the Dream Morning Musume Special Live 2012 Nippon Budokan back in March of 2012. Before her surprised appearance at the Dream Morning Musume live two years ago, she announced her entertainment hiatus during a live event in December of 2011.

Goto was seen wearing mourning clothes with brunette hair at the event. She ignored all questions when reporters asked her about plans on returning to entertainment world. According to officials, Goto was in the same agency as Makino.

In addition, more than 500 people were gathered at the farewell event including singer Eri Hiramatsu(平松愛理) (50),  Yosuke Ito(伊藤洋介) (50) of Tokyo pudding(東京プリン), Every Little Thing, Tetsuya Komuro(小室哲哉) (55) and many others.
