SCANDAL's New Song "Yoake no Ryuseigun(夜明けの流星群)" To Be The Theme Song For New Pokemon Movie

It has been revealed SCANDAL's new song "Yoake no Ryuseigun(夜明けの流星群)" is going to be the theme song for the upcoming Pokemon XY The Movie - The Cocoon of Destruction & Diancie(ポケモン・ザ・ムービーXY 『破壊の繭とディアンシー』), which will be set for release on July 19th, 2014.

The song "Yoake no Ryuseigun(夜明けの流星群)" is composed by Hidenori Tanaka(田中秀典) and produced by Seiji Kameda(亀田誠治). TOMOMI (B, Vo) who dealt with the lyrics of the song said, "I remember Pokemon brought us a lot of excitement and emotion back in the days of elementary school. For this new song, I was trying to come up with something beyond that and I wrote it with all my heart." HARUNA  (Vo, G) said, "I literally jumped up in joy when I was told we would be in charge of the theme song this time."

It should be noted that the release date for the single of this new song has been determined to be on July 16th, 2014.
