SMAP's Shingo Katori(香取慎吾) Made Mariya Nishiuchi(西内まりや) Cry During "SMOKING GUN" Press Conference

SMAP's Shingo Katori(香取慎吾) (37) and actress Mariya Nishiuchi(西内まりや) (20) attended the press conference for Fuji TV's new drama "SMOKING GUN ~Ketteiteki Shoko~" on April 1st, 2014. During the event, Katori nonchalantly revealed some behind the scenes fun facts about Nishiuchi but that in turn made her burst into tears.

Katori casually remarked that his co-star Nishiuchi always gets tired by 10 at night and falls asleep like a little baby on the sofa during the free time on set. He also said he could see her drool sometimes. After the discreet details were exposed, Nishiuchi suddenly burst into tears from embarrassment with her hand over her face and said, "I am really sorry. I understand Katori-san is busy. I am not sure why I would get so tired and fall asleep".

The people at the venue were surprised with Nishiuchi suddenly in tears during the press conference. Nishiuchi reiterated that she will take it upon herself to reflect on what happened and promised not to fall asleep anymore. Katori then quickly followed up and said it was not a problem for him at all and he just wanted to share something fun and cute. He had no idea that it would make her cry.
