Mitsui Aika(光井愛佳) to Graduate from Morning Musume(モーニング娘。)

It has been announced on the official homepage of MORNING MUSUME. that Mitsui Aika(光井愛佳) will be graduating from the group. The young star herself had been announcing the graduation during the performance on May 5th at Nakano Sun plaza(中野サンプラザ).

"I, Mitsui Aika(光井愛佳) , will be graduating from Morning Musume(モーニング娘。) on May 18th. Last year in May I had been feeling unwell at my foot and while having been to the doctor and injury has been diagnosed and I have been undergoing various treatments for roughly a year. While at this point it has been mostly healed, I have been consulting Tsunko-sna and the people in the company about the kind of rough schedule and we have come to this decision at this point in time."

While Aika's voice had been filled with emotions, her fans nearly listened to her explanation silently.

"I want to graduate while giving my utmost until the very last performance on May 18th."

For Mitui Aika and Nigaki Risa the performance on May 15th will be the last as part of MORNING MUSUME. Please keep a watchful eye on both girls in the future!
