Ai Kago(加護亜依) Attends The Funeral of Her Good Friend Reina Okada(岡田れえな)

Former Morning Musume(モーニング娘。) Ai Kago(加護亜依) (26) attended the funeral of talent Reina Okada(岡田れえな) (Died At The Age of 26) on May 2nd, 2014. Okada was the daughter of Hideki Samajima(鮫島秀樹) (59), a bassist for the rock band "Hound Dog". Kago showed up in front of reporters for the first time in many years.

Kago was reported for underage smoking twice and was later dismissed from her agency in 2007. Even though she resumed her entertainment activities in May of 2008, there was a report of attempted suicide in 2011. In the same year, she announced her marriage, pregnancy, and began her indefinite hiatus from showbiz. She started her own agency in August of 2013 but no further details were revealed.

Kago attended the funeral of her good friend Okada. During the funeral, she wiped her eyes many time with her handkerchief. She said the following on her blog after the funeral: "I will continue to live in this world without you and I will never forget you."
