Yaida Hitomi(矢井田瞳) to make comeback with Universal Music

Singer Yaida Hitomi/矢井田瞳 (32) will make her comeback with her first new song in three and a half years. She has signed a new contract with Universal Music and will start off with a single called "Simple is Best" in February.

Before that, Yaida will perform two concerts in January. The first will be at Shibuya AX in Tokyo on January 17, and the second will be at Namba Hatch in Osaka on January 20.

Yaida made her major label debut in 2000 and is known for hits such as "my sweet darlin'." She got married in 2007, and in October 2009 she gave birth to her first child.
