MAY’S Maiko Katagiri(片桐舞子) and Junichi Kawai(河井純一) to Release Solo Albums Simultaneously

R&B duo Maiko Katagiri(片桐舞子) and Junichi Kawai(河井純一) of MAY’S are set to release their solo albums on December 4th, 2013 at the same time, respectively.

Maiko Katagiri(片桐舞子)'s first solo album is titled "Solo".  All 7 songs in the album will be depicting the feelings and emotions of women. The coupling track of the album "TOKYO BLUE" will began distribution on November 6th on Recochoku. The photos for the cover art and the jacket of the album were taken in Barcelona, Spain.

On the other hand, Junichi Kawai(河井純一)'s 7 songs solo album is called "Aozora", which means "blue sky".  The photos for his album were taken in Bangkok, Thailand.  The album is self-produced and he also handled the art direction for the designs by himself.  In addition, the short PV for the song "Aozora" was also recorded in Bangkok.

Aside from their solo activities, the duo is also continuing their group activities for MAY's.  They will make their appearance at the "Hokkaido R & B Festival" in November and they also announced they will appear at the Tokyo Ebisu Garden Hall for the Christmas Live on December 23rd.
