T.M. Revolution to go on Hiatus Due to Inflamed Vocal Cords

Takanori Nishikawa/西川貴教, the singer known as T.M. Revolution, revealed on Tuesday afternoon that he has to stop singing for at least a week due to acute inflammation of his vocal cords. According to the doctor's orders posted online, the doctor discovered a polyp on the singer's left vocal cord. As a result, the doctor prescribed a week of silence during which Nishikawa cannot use his voice except for daily conversation.

Nishikawa noted that he had been overextending himself from the end of last year through Japan's New Year's holidays. He performed as recently as Monday during the "Sengoku Basara 5th Anniversary Festival ~Budokan Party~/戦国BASARA 5周年祭~武道館の宴~" event. The singer assured his fans that he will return to performing as soon as he can.
