Morning Musume(モーニング娘。) To Perform In New York This October

It has been revealed Morning Musume(モーニング娘。) will hold a solo concert at the Best Buy Theater in New York, US (Local Time) on October 5th, 2014.

Leader of the group, Sayumi Michishige(道重さゆみ) said, "There is a special announcement today!" With a big smile on her face she announced, "Would you believe it? Morning Musume will be holding a solo concert in New York, US on October this year!"

Michishige received loud cheers from the audience. She continued, "Until now, Morning Musume has performed in Asian countries and in France. This will be the first overseas performance for the 10 people Morning Musume '14. We are all fired up for it!" After while she said, "So please come by all means." Her comment drew laughter from the crowds. 

This will be Morning Musume's first overseas performance in about 4 years. Aside from leader Michishige, it will be the first overseas solo concert for the rest of the members.
