Ayumi Hamasaki(浜崎あゆみ) to provide theme song for the animated feature film "Buddha 2"

It has been announced that pop singer Ayumi Hamasaki(浜崎あゆみ) is going to provide the theme song "Pray" for the animated film "Buddha 2: Tezuka Osamu no Buddha ~Owarinaki Tabi~(BUDDHA2 手塚治虫のブッダ ─ 終わりなき旅 ─)". This will be Ayu's first animated feature film theme song since her "No More Words" song for "Inuyasha the Movie: Affections Touching Across Time(犬夜叉 時代を越える想い)" back in 2001.

The film "Buddha 2" will be released on February 8th, 2014. Ayu told reporters to look forward to the movie and that she had fun writing lyrics for the theme song of this amazing animated movie.  Even thought she had never read the original manga before, she took the time to read the entire series and drew inspiration of the immerse and unique viewpoints of the manga for her song "Pray".

The film will feature the following voice actors and actresses: Nana Mizuki(水樹奈々), Sayuri Yoshinaga(吉永小百合), Hidetaka Yoshioka(吉岡秀隆), Kenichi Matsuyama(松山ケンイチ), Yoko Maki (真木よう子), and many more.

Ayumi Hamasaki(浜崎あゆみ)'s new song "Pray" will be released in the spring of 2014. More infomation about the release date to follow.
