Berryz Koubou(Berryz工房) to release U.S. debut album

Digital music store JapanFiles has announced its plans to release the debut U.S. album from Hello! Project idol group Berryz Koubou. The album's release will coincide with the group's U.S. performance debut at the anime convention Sakura-Con 2011 in Seattle, Washington, on April 22-24.

Sakura-Con is an American convention dedicated to Japanese anime started back in 1998 in Washington. It was an exclusively anime-only event until 2004, where musical artists were invited to perform. Past guests have included hiro, m.o.v.e, SCANDAL, and HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR, just to name a few.
