Angela Aki(アンジェラアキ) gives birth to a baby boy

Singer-songwriter Angela Aki(アンジェラアキ) (34) announced that she gave birth to her first child, a son, on February 17 at a hospital in Tokyo.



Aki, who has been married to a music director since 2007, revealed last September that she was five months pregnant. At the same time, she also revealed that she had an ectopic pregnancy in early 2011 but unfortunately had to undergo surgery due to the complications.

Aki is aiming to resume her activities with a nationwide tour this fall. though the details have not yet been decided.
