the GazettE to release new album “BEAUTIFUL DEFORMITY” on Oct. 23

the GazettE's new album “BEAUTIFUL DEFORMITY” has been slated for an Oct. 23 release. It will be the band's seventh full album release, including their recent single “FADELESS” for a total of 14 songs. The jacket art for both the limited first press edition and the regular edition have been released to the public.

The first press edition in particular is extremely unique: compared to images of the regular edition released on the same day, it is apparent that the package will feature 3D styling. Adding to this unique approach is the uncompromising message of the GazettE through their 10 year major label history, during which they have described themselves as “heretics” in a stagnant and consistent music scene: the “BEAUTIFUL DEFORMITY” of the album title.

The true artistry of the regular edition is also sure to surprise. It is a breathtaking piece composed of a painstaking reproduction of another art piece.

Also featured on the DVD enclosed within the first press edition is a video based around the album's opening instrumental track, “MALFORMED BOX”.

The DVD will also include the music video for the band's “INSIDE BEAST”, which is said to be a video exposing the two faces of the band's members. The particulars of the project have yet to be released, but are surely a highly anticipated feature for fans.

International preorders of the album will begin from Oct. 1 via iTunes in nine countries (the USA、Canada、Argentina、Brazil、Chile、Colombia、Peru、Australia and New Zealand). However, the album will be available for purchase worldwide following the release date. Their previous work “DIVISION” was released in 62 countries and territories, but it is expected that “BEAUTIFUL DEFORMITY” will see a wider release spanning 72 countries. This will surely provide an even larger surge of popularity for the group, whose releases have not seen this wide of a release in several years.

This past September, the band embarked on their World Tour “the GazettE WORLD TOUR 13” which covered nine performances in seven countries of South America and Europe, where they were greeted warmly and with open arms. Undoubtedly, they will continue to garner international attention, and capture more hearts, with their intense live performances and high-quality sound; and surely, their progression as an internationally-recognized heavy rock band is something to be experienced.
