Rina Katahira(片平里菜) Announces The Release Of New Single "Onna no Ko wa Nakanai(女の子は泣かない)" And Her First One-Man Tour

It has been decided that Singer-Songwriter Rina Katahira(片平里菜) is set to release a new single titled "Onna no Ko wa Nakanai(女の子は泣かない)" on January 15th, 2014.

The song "Onna no Ko wa Nakanai(女の子は泣かない)" which translated to "Girls do not cry" has been playing in her live events since October. The song is about the feelings of the current generation of girls who are fighting hard everyday at work and/or in college.  Rina took inspirations of her friends' stories for this particular song and she expresses sympathetic feelings for the women of the same generation as her.

Furthermore, Rina's furst one-man tour called "Onna no ko wa Nake, warae, sakebe" which means "Girls cry, laugh, cry" will be held between the end of January til February. Tour will begin in Tokyo on January 31st then onto Osaka and Fukushima.

In addition, Rina will make a special guest appearance on "Goose House Ustream live" on November 16th at 20:00 Japan time. On the following day, she will also hold a mini live event in Tokyo, Yoyogi Park Panorama Square fountain on the 17th for the "J-WAVE TALK & LIVE in SHIBUYA CAMP2013" event.
