Aya Hirano(平野綾) to star "Wuthering Heights/嵐が丘" with Ryuichi Kawamura(河村隆一)

It’s been announced that "Wuthering Heights/嵐が丘", which is originally a novel written by Emily Bronte, will be adapted into a musical in Japan with Ryuichi Kawamura /河村隆一 as a lead actor. “Wuthering Heights” was first published in 1847, and has been played as a stage performance all over the world.

Ryuichi Kawamura /河村隆一, who has previously acted in "CHICAGO", received high praise from both critics and audiences, will be playing the role of Heathcliff. As the heroine, Catherine, both Aya Hirano/平野綾 and Natsumi Abe/安倍 なつみ have been chosen. They will be double casting the role, and it’s said that this will be the first real challenge for Aya Hirano's new career path.

"Wuthering Heights/嵐が丘" will start playing on July 6th and will run until the 24th at Akasaka ACT theater in Tokyo, and then July 25th to the 31st at Umeda Arts Theater in Osaka.
