Yuko Ogura(小倉優子) to get married?

Gravure Idol Yuko Ogura(小倉優子) (27), also known by the nickname "Yukorin," is getting married next year. Her partner is said to be the popular hair and makeup stylist Isao Kikuchi (40), who runs a successful salon and has worked on celebrities such as SMAP and actor Shinichi Tsutsumi. They apparently announced their engagement to their friends at the end of last month, and they plan to hold their wedding in Hawaii in February. 


According to the news reports, the couple met about two years ago through a mutual friend. Kikuchi was dating a model at the time, but he is said to have left his girlfriend to get together with Ogura. Ogura herself was rumored to be in a relationship with comedian Masaru Hamaguchi (38) from 2006 to 2008.

Ogura and Kikuchi's romance was first reported this past January, when a magazine pointed out that they had both posted similar pictures on their blogs. Currently, the two are said to be living together in an apartment in Tokyo.

Ogura, who just turned 27 at the start of this month, has previously declared that she wants to get married by the age of 28. With this, her dream will be achieved, but the suddenness of the announcement has led the media to speculate that the idol may be pregnant. As Sankei Sports puts it, if one supposes that she is in her second month, then she would be in the stable period of her pregnancy by the time the two travel to Hawaii for the wedding.

Meanwhile, Sports Hochi reports that a source close to Ogura says that she plans to retire from show business.
