Ayumi Hamasaki(浜崎あゆみ) Got Married On The Day Of Doll's Festival After 2.5 Months Of Engagement To American Med Student

Japanese pop singer Ayumi Hamasaki(浜崎あゆみ) (35) has announced via her paid official fan club site "Team Ayu" that she got married on March 3rd, 2014 on the day of the Doll's Festival. The title of that particular post is "Just married ☆".

Today, Hamasaki's agent has submitted marriage registration to the ward office in Tokyo. Similar procedure was done in the United States on Febuary.

On December 13th, 2013, Hamasaki announced that she was engaged to a 25 years old graduate student attending the UCLA School of Medicine (University of California, Los Angeles).  The couples were seen returning to Narita Airport on December 16th and then later left Japan at the end of January of this year.

It is said the couple met during the new years holiday last year through an acquaintance and started dating in spring. The two then went on to a summer vacation to Bali together.

In 2011, Hamasaki was married in Las Vegas to Austrian actor Manuel Schwarz on New Year's day. The two ended up getting a divorce in January of 2012. However, there seemed to be a flaw to her marriage at the time since she never filed any paper work to the family register in Japan.

Hamasaki was a secret guest for the "Tokyo Girls Collection" opening which was held in Tokyo on March 1st, 2014.  It is said she is back in Los Angeles already.
