Former Morning Musume(モーニング娘。) member, Mari Yaguchi(矢口真里) (31), who is currently on an indefinite hiatus is said to be earning more than 270,000 yen monthly from her blog even without any updates since October of 2013. The information was pointed out on Fuji TV's "Waidonasho(ワイドナショー)" on April 27th, 2014.

Yaguchi was reported to have an illicit affair with a younger model and she has been out of public limelight since June of 2013. Even her frequently updated blog has also stopped since October of 2013. According to entertainment reporter Kozo Inoue(上公造氏), the advertising revenue from her blog is independent from whether she updates the blog or not.

Yaguchi's blog still draws a lot of attention and received more than 720 comments on her blog this year alone. Fans and celebrity friends still frequently visit her blog. It is calculated that the advertising revenues from her blog is around 270,000 yen monthly.
