Shiina Ringo(椎名林檎) Set To Release First Self Covered Album + Live Release Events

It was announced that Shiina Ringo(椎名林檎) will release her first self covered album titled "Gyakuyunyu ~Kowankyoku~(逆輸入 ～港湾局～)" on May 27th, 2014, which marks the 16th anniversary of her debut.

For this upcoming album, Shiina Ringo will personally cover the songs she previously wrote for Ryoko Hirosu(広末涼子), Rie Tomosaka(ともさかりえ), TOKIO, PUFFY, Chiaki Kuriyama(栗山千明), SMAP, Yoko Maki(真木よう子), and Hideki Noda(野田秀樹). Kenichi Yamada(前山田健一), Takeshi Kobayashi(小林武史), and Hidaka Tooru(ヒダカトオル) will be doing the rearrangement for these songs and they will be recorded using the latest technology.

In addition, it has also been determined that she will be holding commemorative live events for the launch of the release in Yokohama, and Osaka.
