Legendary Guitarist Mike Doling To Participate in SCREW's New Single "FUGLY"

Visual-kei rock band SCREW is set to release a new single titled "FUGLY" on April 23rd, 2014.  It has been revealed that Mikey Doling, who is the current guitarist for rock band Channel Zero, and a former member of Soulfly and Snot to guest participate in the coupling track "Jubaku wa eigo ni...(呪縛は永劫に...)" of the upcoming new single.

Producer of SCREW, Tsugei Takamichi(告井孝通) has had exchanges with Mikey for some time.  It is said that Mikey was impressed with the sound of SCREW upon hearing their first major album.  Mikey is in charge of the guitar solo of the recording of FUGLY.  Kazaumi (Guitar) and Jin (Drummer) said they are a big fan of heavy rock and it's an honored for them to participate in a song with someone of Mikey's status.

The title song "FUGLY" is short for "fucking ugly".  Byou(鋲), the vocalist of SCREW commented that this new song is a worthy work to start off the year of 2014.  Also, for the regular edition of Type B, it's going to come with a newly recorded version of Shiko o kuruwasu hankaina tenbin(至幸を狂わす半解な天秤). Byou said that this new recording is a challenge with the past and he intended to make improvement to the new version.

In addition, the band is going to perform on April 20th, 2013 for its eighth anniversary of the band with a live event called "SCREW 8th Anniversary Live NEVERENDING BREATH AT AKASAKA BLITZ".
